De La Torre's owners Maggie and Miguel De La Torre met in Madrid, Spain in the 80's. They fell in love, married and decided to share Spain's sensational cusine with the American Mid-West. They opened De La Torre's doors in 1987 to rave reviews and haven't looked back since.

In 2004 they celebrated De La Torre's 15th anniversary by opening La Bodega, next door. An authentic tapas bar, La Bodega captures the other side of Spanish traditional dining by offering spanish tapas, late night dining (the prefered time for Spaniards to dine), a full bar and specialty cocktails.
